Triple H had to take a step back from wrestling last year to focus on his health issues, and a few months ago he confirmed that he is officially retired from in-ring competition.
The Game is still working behind the scenes and according to John Pollock of Post Wrestling he returned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando today. It was noted that Triple H told people that he’s “back” although it’s not clear exactly what that entails.
“According to multiple sources, Paul Levesque was in Orlando today and spoke at the Performance Center. Of the people I heard from, Levesque stated “he’s back” – it is unknown what that entails but that was the wording I was given.”

For many years NXT was thought of as Triple H’s baby, but last year WWE decided to go in a different direction when the brand was relaunched as NXT 2.0. Shawn Michaels stepped up in Triple H’s absence, so it will be interesting to see where things go from here. Stay tuned for more updates on Triple H’s status as they become available.
