Vince McMahon announced his retirement back in July, and shortly after it was announced that Triple H was taking over WWE creative. Since then Triple H has made some changes to the WWE product while bringing back former stars who were released over the last few years.
Fans have seen some familiar faces in recent months, but one character they haven’t seen is Ezekiel. The night after WrestleMania 38, Ezekiel made his debut and he was one of the most talked about characters in WWE before he was written off TV.
WWE is advertising the return of Elias for Raw on 10/17, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Ezekiel was written off TV because Triple H dropped plans for the character as soon as he came into power. Elias was given time off so he could grow back his beard and hair.
Do you think WWE should have kept the Ezekiel storyline going? Sound off in the comments below.
