WWE has been making some big changes over the last few years as SmackDown moved to USA Network a few months ago and NXT moved to The CW. Monday Night Raw is set to move to Netflix this week and there’s been a lot of speculation regarding what the future holds for WWE’s premium live events.
Currently premium live events air on Peacock in the United States, but international fans will now be able to watch PLEs on Netflix. WWE’s current deal with Peacock is set to expire in 2026 which opens the door for WWE to possibly take their premium live events to a different platform in the United States.
Triple H was recently asked about the future of premium live events during an appearance on the SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, and The Game indicated that WWE will be open to having talks with any interested parties.
“At some point this year, we’ll get into the deal with Peacock, who we love and they’ll get a lot of consideration for us as the existing partner. I like to think that if we’re successful the way we think we will be, Netflix would be very interested and others will be as well.”
“Premium Live Events, that’s our biggest content and our most valuable content, including WrestleMania. I think people will come in strong for that. Hopefully, between now and March of next year, we will prove ourselves that that is our most valuable content.”
