Triple H On Taking A Shot At AEW, Cody Rhodes Taking A Shot At Him At Double Or Nothing

Everybody’s talking about AEW at the moment, and last month during DX’s WWE Hall of Fame speech, Triple H called AEW a “pissant company.”

Saturday at AEW Double or Nothing, Cody Rhodes took a shot at Triple H when he destroyed a Triple H inspired thrown using a sledgehammer.

During the NXT TakeOver conference call Triple H was asked about the shots being thrown back and forth between AEW and WWE, and if they’re good for business.

He said that at the WWE Hall of Fame they had to address the elephant in the room because Billy Gunn was there, and it was nothing more than that. He went on to say that’s just the type of thing that DX does, and a lot of the speech wasn’t necessarily laid out and planned ahead of time.

In regards to AEW throwing shots at WWE, he said that he doesn’t really think about it, and right now he’s just focused on TakeOver, and putting on the best show they can.
