WrestleMania 36 was one of the most unique shows in WrestleMania history, as it took place from the WWE Performance Center, and it was pre-taped.
For the first time ever WrestleMania also took place over the course of two nights with no fans in attendance.
Over the last few years there have been a lot of complaints about the length of WrestleMania, and it seems that many people felt the show was easier to consume when it was spread out over two nights.
Triple H shared his thoughts on WrestleMania being a two night event during an episode of the After The Bell podcast, and he made it clear that he thought it was much more enjoyable.
“This is my opinion but it was much more enjoyable than the eight-hour extravaganza. I think at some point that [two nights] is probably what it should be. It’s just become so big that it’s almost like, when you think about it, in a way, it started out as a concert that ended up being a festival.”
