As seen on Raw last night, Triple H returned and he helped Kevin Owens win the Universal Championship when he hit Seth Rollins with the Pedigree.
It was noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE may be planning to build a Triple H vs. Seth Rollins for WrestleMania 33. Original plans for WrestleMania 32 called for Seth Rollins to face Triple H before Seth went down with an injury.
The elimination stipulation that was added to the fatal 4-way main event featuring Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Big Cass and Roman Reigns was added some time over the last few days.
New WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens reacted to his big win on Monday night by posting simply “I win” on Twitter.
After Kevin Owens won the title, the first ever WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor congratulated him on Twitter. Finn also said that they’ve been through it all together, and that he has no doubt they’ll go through it all again.
The new Universal Champion Kevin Owens let him know that he’s looking forward to it.
