Triple H took over WWE creative last year and since then he’s been leaving his mark on the product. The Game has obviously worked closely with many former NXT stars over the years including Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
It looks like the future may be bright for Gargano and Ciampa as Twitter user @BoozerRasslin is reporting that the former NXT Tag Team Champions are expected to get a big push following Night of Champions heading into Money in the Bank.
Gargano and Ciampa achieved major success in NXT working together in the tag team division as DIY in addition to their memorable feud. Recently Johnny Gargano teased Ciampa’s return when he told the other members of The Way that “he’s coming back soon.”
Tommaso Ciampa has been out of action since last year and although WWE has yet to confirm a date for his return it sounds like he’s expected to return to TV sooner than later.
