It’s been an interesting year for The Undertaker as he announced his retirement after he defeated AJ Styles in the first ever Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36.
Taker has been showing fans a different side of himself for months now, and at Survivor Series he celebrated his 30th anniversary, and told fans it’s time to say goodbye to The Undertaker.
The Deadman has said that he would like to work with up and coming talent moving forward, and during a post NXT TakeOver: WarGames media call Triple H confirmed that he has talked to Taker about working at the Performance Center.
“We’ve talked a lot about it, about being here and being involved with the future, and getting more into that. I would like to believe he has earned taking a breath after his retirement for a moment (laughs), but we’ve actually just touched base in the past couple of days, and that is something coming out of the holidays that we will certainly be talking about in 2021, which is just one more reason to be excited about next year. Having him involved, I just, I can’t stress enough how impactful that will be to everybody.”
One way or another it seems that The Undertaker will still actively be involved with wrestling in the future. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
