Chris Jericho has proved time and time again that he knows how to get people talking and today he sent shockwaves throughout the wrestling world when it was announced that he will be the next guest on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions.
Jericho has been with All Elite Wrestling since January of 2019, so the fact that an AEW star is appearing on WWE programming is interesting to say the least.
While talking about Chris Jericho’s upcoming appearance during a media conference call for NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Triple H noted that the announcement wasn’t shocking to him.
“We’re open for business. I’ve said it a million times on things. Vince [McMahon] has been very open for business, what’s best for business for WWE and open to working with whoever. People sometimes create their own situations in their head. I just heard it today, but it’s not shocking to me in any shape or form.”
Chris Jericho’s appearance on Broken Skull Sessions will premiere on Sunday, April 11 and you can get more on how Steve Austin pitched the idea to Vince McMahon here.
