This year’s WWE Hall of Fame class is going to be one to remember, as it’s rumored that some big names could be inducted this year. As of right now only one name has officially been confirmed, as it’s been announced that former WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg will be inducted as part of the 2018 Hall of Fame class.
Goldberg has an interesting history in the wrestling business, as his 173 match win streak in WCW made him a star, and after the company closed its doors he joined WWE.
During his time in WWE, Goldberg feuded with many of the company’s top stars including Triple H.
Triple H commented on Goldberg’s big induction by saying WWE is honored to have him as part of the Hall of Fame class.
“Goldberg’s unique athleticism, persona and intensity captured the imagination of sports entertainment fans around the world throughout his illustrious career,” said Paul Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative. “We are honored to have Goldberg take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame.”
Fans who want to watch this year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony on the WWE Network will be able to do so on April 6, and fans who want to attend the ceremony live will be able to buy tickets when they go on sale this Friday.
