Asuka’s run as the NXT Women’s Champion is nothing short of historic. WWE officials have given a lot of attention to Nikki Bella’s longest reign as the WWE Divas Champion, but Asuka has held her title 200 days longer. The Empress of Tomorrow has really changed the game.

Recently, Triple H revealed during an interview with USA Today that Vince McMahon wanted Asuka to be moved to the main roster on Raw and SmackDown Live. However, The Game fought to keep her in NXT above all the talents that were taken from brand in the WWE Draft.
HHH made it clear that he wasn’t trying to take away Asuka’s opportunities, but he knew how important she would be to NXT, especially after losing so much talent. Her debut on the main roster is only a matter of time. A lot of people are expecting Asuka to drop the title tonight.
At NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III, Asuka will defend the NXT Women’s Title against Ember Moon and the expectation is for the former’s historic title reign to end. After that, her main roster debut will happen quickly. If Asuka loses her title, she could be moved as early as next week.
