WWE’s reality television empire seems to grow more every year. With Miz and Mrs coming up this summer WWE will have more reality television shows than they do main roster programs. Total Bellas season three received a ton of hype to get people interested about the show. John Cena and Nikki Bella traveled everywhere spilling their guts about the end of their relationship while we kind of got to see them somewhat verbally rekindle things in a manner of speaking.
Now reports are that John and Nikki are back together or they have been this whole time, I’m not sure because it’s all possibly a work anyway. But the question is if all of hit effort paid off and the only real way to judge this is by the ratings of the show.
Total Bellas season 2 finale drew 674,000 viewers and ranked #17 in the night at the time. But the season 3 premiere with all of this hype actually drew fewer people. Ranking 24th in the evening, the Total Bellas season 3 premiere drew 517,000 viewers ranking 24th in the night’s cable viewership in 18-49-year-olds.
This might be a bit disappointing but to be honest, it’s still nothing to complain about considering the NBA playoff games they had running in competition of the show and the fact that this season is supposed to be building toward John and Nikki’s breakup and it’s rumored that the two are already back together.
