In the world of professional wrestling unfortunately tag teams come and go, and this week on Monday Night Raw the women’s tag team division lost one of its top teams.
The IIconics faced off against The Riott Squad this week on Raw in a match to determine the next contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, with the stipulation being that the losing team would have to split up.
Unfortunately for The IIconics, Ruby Riott pinned Billie Kay to win the match, so The IIconics are no longer a team.
It’s worth noting that it was recently reported that Vince McMahon wants to push Billie Kay as a singles star, so that could be the reason for the breakup.
