This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured the return of DX, and they challenged the Brothers of Destruction to a match at Crown Jewel in the opening segment.
Bobby Lashley also faced Kevin Owens in a singles match on Raw, and the match featured an interesting heel turn from Bobby Lashley.
Ever since Lashley returned to WWE earlier this year, he’s been working as a face, but he’s become considerably less likable since he’s been paired with Lio Rush.
Lio Rush grabbed a microphone during the match, and throughout the bout he encouraged fans to cheer for Bobby Lashley.
Rush’s attempts to get fans to cheer had the opposite effect, as the Chicago crowd booed.
The fans then started to get behind Kevin Owens as Rush continued to tell them that they should be cheering Bobby Lashley.
Lashley ended up picking up the victory, but the action didn’t stop there.
Bobby Lashley then attacked Kevin Owens after the match was over, and he wrapped his knee around the ring post as Kevin Owens appeared to be in extreme pain.
The fans then heavily booed Lashley as he made his exit.
Backstage, Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley interrupted a Bayley/Finn Balor interview, and Rush said that his words, and Bobby’s power are “too sweet” as the fans booed them again.
