This is terrible timing for an injury, especially for a guy who just came back from such an awful injury in the first place. But it looks like Big Cass could be injured only a handful of weeks after his return to the ring after his knee was all healed up.
It appears Big Cass could have injured his knee during his tag team match with The Miz against Daniel Bryan and Tye Dillinger. Cass recently returned from an 8-month time on the shelf recuperating from an awful ACL injury so this is not what he needs at all for several reasons.
It’s unknown at this point just how bad Big Cass is injured at this time but seeing how his knee has given him famous problems before and he was limping this isn’t a good sign.
At least he seemed to be able to put some weight on his leg which is much better than when he crumbled the night after SummerSlam last year after he initially destroyed his knee.
But just like when he injured his knee before Big Cass didn’t seem to be very happy. He appeared to be very angry slamming his fists down on the apron in a rage as his frustration built over the thought of another career setback.
As he limped around the ring the crowd’s reaction had little to do with the pain he might have been feeling. It could be a very bad deal for Big Cass if he experiences another injury because the last thing he wants is for WWE management to see him as fragile.
Let’s hope Big Cass will be able to get over this injury and it won’t change any plans for him. After all, SmackDown Live is very low on top heels and he was being pushed in a great direction in a feud with Daniel Bryan.
