There are quite a few options out there when it comes to potential moves that WWE Superstars could add to their arsenal, but over the years several moves have been banned.
The piledriver is a move that’s been banned in WWE for some time now, but it looks like an effort is being made to bring it back.
Fightful is reporting that Matt Riddle and Damian Priest were told not to do a Canadian Destroyer after doing it at a live event, as they didn’t have clearance.
While Andrade and Rey Mysterio have been allowed to use the Canadian Destroyer it’s being reported that Kevin Owens has been unsuccessful in his attempts to bring back the piledriver.
Owens has reportedly made an effort to pitch the Package Piledriver as his finisher “quite often” but the idea never makes it to Vince McMahon.
Do you think WWE should bring back the piledriver? Sound off in the comments below.
