Top WWE Superstar Quarantined, Pulled From WrestleMania 36

WWE has had to make some major changes to WrestleMania 36 over the last few weeks, and it was recently announced that The Street Profits will defend the Raw Tag Team Titles against Angel Garza and US Champion Andrade at the event.

The Raw Tag Team Title match seems quite random, especially considering that WWE was seemingly building toward a US Title match between Andrade and Rey Mysterio.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there were multiple different ideas for US Title matches, but the main idea was Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio.

However, Rey Mysterio is off the show because he’s currently in quarantine.

It was also noted that AOP vs. The Street Profits was also likely for the show, but Rezar tore his bicep, so that match was also off the card.

WWE is simply reacting to circumstances at this point which is why some matches are being thrown together with little to no build.
