WrestleMania season is right around the corner, and no one wants to be sitting on the sidelines on the road to WrestleMania. There have been a lot of rumors about possible returns as of late, and now it seems that we’ll be seeing a return to the ring sooner than later.
PWInsider reports that WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura has been cleared to return to the ring. Nakamura has been out of action since December of 2021 due to a hand injury he suffered at a live event. Nakamura also shared a x-ray of his hand in his Instagram story and added a caption noting that he has been cleared to fight.
Shinsuke Nakamura is set to be in Kansas City for the SmackDown tapings tonight, and he is free to compete in the men’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday night. Nakamura previously won the Royal Rumble in 2018 and he went on to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
