WWE didn’t run a live Raw on Monday night this week, but the company did hold live events. One event took place from Madison Square Garden in New York City and another event took place from Columbus, Ohio.
Fightful Select reports that the Columbus show ended up being a logistical mess as several wrestlers missed the event and others showed up late. Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Alexa Bliss all missed the event due to travel problems.
Originally Seth Rollins was set to compete in the main event against Austin Theory, but Theory ended up facing Johnny Gargano and Damian Priest inside of a steel cage. Rollins confirmed on Twitter that he was dealing with travel issues when he posted the following on Twitter:
“It did. And I’m very sorry! We tried, but by the time the bus broke down on the side of the road we had no other recourse.”
WWE decided not to run a live Raw this week in order to give production employees more time off.
