Several former WWE stars have returned to the company recently, but it’s been months since fans have seen Randy Orton on WWE programming. The Viper last competed on an episode of SmackDown in May, and he’s been out of action ever since due to injury.
During a recent interview with NBC Sports Boston, Kofi Kingston was asked who he would want on his Survivor Series team and he named Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams
Kingston also put Randy Orton’s name on the list, but noted that he’s not sure if Randy Orton will be returning to WWE when he said, “I don’t know if [Randy] Orton is coming back, but I’d put Randy on my team. You know, The Viper and the experience factor.”
Kofi Kingston isn’t the first Superstar to comment on Randy Orton’s future as Seth Rollins also said back in July that no one knows for sure if Randy will be back.
Randy Orton has been dealing with a back injury and the Wrestling Observer reported that there’s a lot of concern in WWE regarding the injury and its severity. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
