At the moment all eyes are looking ahead to the Royal Rumble premium live event which is set to air live from Tropicana Field on Saturday. The Royal Rumble will kick off the road to WrestleMania and there’s a lot of speculation regarding who will end up on the WrestleMania card this year.
Drew McIntyre has been one of WWE’s top stars for some time now, but his contract status has been a hot topic in the wrestling community over the last few months.
PWInsider is reporting that Drew McIntyre still hasn’t signed a new deal with WWE. If Drew McIntyre does not sign a new contract then he will be free and clear to work wherever he wants right after WrestleMania 40.
WrestleMania 40 is set to air live from Philadelphia on April 6 and April 7, so it seems that Drew’s time with WWE could be limited if a new deal is not signed. One way or another it will be interesting to see how things play out with the Drew McIntyre situation in the months to come.
