Fans have seen some huge matches at WrestleMania over the last few years, and this year Becky Lynch will be challenging Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Becky Lynch has been one of the top stars in WWE for some time now, but it seems that she’s reaching the end of her current deal with the company.
During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour, Ariel Helwani asked Becky Lynch about her contract status with WWE and she confirmed she only has two months left when she said, “Final two months [laughs]. You wanted me to be honest.”
When asked if there have been talks of a renewal Becky noted that nothing has been said to her. Lynch was also asked if she feels disrespected that she hasn’t been offered a new deal yet and she said, “At this stage in the game, contrary to a lot of the thoughts in this book, I am so confident in my ability and my worth. No, not really.”
Even though no deal has been signed just yet Becky also noted that she doubts this will be her last WrestleMania, so we’ll have to wait and see how things play out with Becky’s contract in the months to come.
Stay tuned for updates.
