Top WWE Star Written Off TV Indefinitely

Over the weekend fans got the chance to see Ronda Rousey challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania Backlash, and it was Rousey who walked out with the gold after she wrapped Flair’s arm in a chair and forced her to say “I quit.”

After the match was over WWE posted a storyline injury update saying that Charlotte Flair suffered a fractured radius during the bout. Now the company has shared another update claiming the former SmackDown Women’s Champion will be out of action indefinitely. WWE posted the following announcement:

“Charlotte Flair will be out of action indefinitely as a result of injuries suffered in her SmackDown Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania Backlash at the hands of Ronda Rousey, WWE’s The Bump has reported.”

It was recently reported that the injury angle was done to write Charlotte Flair off TV while she gets married to Andrade El Idolo. It’s not clear at this point in time how long she’ll be out. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
