This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw gave fans plenty to talk about including a face to face confrontation between Seth Rollins and CM Punk. It seemed as though Punk and Rollins were just about to throw down, but they were interrupted by Drew McIntyre. Punk ran into the crowd to chase Drew then Seth Rollins was attacked by Bronson Reed who seemingly came out of nowhere.
Bronson Reed completely destroyed Seth Rollins as he hit The Visionary with the tsunami six times. Dave Meltzer recently shared an update on Seth’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio, and he noted that the segment was done to write Seth Rollins off TV for now.
“Remember on Monday we were talking about Seth and Dakota? It was done for injury reasons… I don’t know how serious.
“I asked if they were storyline covers for injuries and I was told they both were, but Seth is not a bad situation. Seth is cleared, he could wrestle but he’s banged up. So it was a good time for him to take time off.
“I don’t know if he’ll be back for the pay-per-view against Bronson Reed.”
Stay tuned for updates on Seth’s status as they become available.
