We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania 40 and business has picked up in a big way as The Rock recently returned and aligned himself with The Bloodline. Amid The Rock’s return Seth Rollins has offered to be Cody Rhodes’ shield and Rollins has made it clear that he’s not intimidated by The Rock.
Recently during an interview with Daily Mail, Rollins addressed The Great One’s return while noting that he’s happy to have The Rock in WWE, but he will be happier to see him go.
“Bottom line is, he is an afterthought. This is our story, our era. We’ve built the last decade of WWE, this Elimination Chamber show, this WrestleMania will be the biggest ever; we built it without him.
“He’s been off doing his own thing and I’m not taking anything away from him; he laid the groundwork for it but we built it, man. We built the wall, we built the roof, we’ve got this sorted. He can come in and have a little tea but we will shoe him on the way out. Happy to have him, happier to see him go.”
It’s been confirmed that Cody Rhodes will be challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40, and Seth’s opponent will be determined at Elimination Chamber on Saturday. It’s rumored that we could be getting a Rock & Reigns vs. Rhodes & Rollins match at WrestleMania as well, but that has not been confirmed.
