It’s been a big year for many of WWE’s top stars and there’s no denying that Gunther has established himself as a force to be reckoned with. The Ring General became the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time and he’s defended his championship against all comers.
Earlier this month Gunther successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz on Raw. Following the match Gunther told his fellow Imperium members that he would be taking some time away from WWE, and it looks like he’s making the most of it.
Gunther recently confirmed via social media that he and his wife Jinny welcomed their first child into the world when he posted the following:
“This morning our son entered the world.
What a blessing ”
Gunther and Jinny officially confirmed their marriage earlier this year. Jinny last wrestled for NXT UK in November of 2021, and in January of 2023 she confirmed her retirement from in-ring competition when she posted the following statement on social media.
“After a long time away due to an injury, I have made the decision to hang up my fashionable boots. Thank you for all the memories. I’ll remember that chapter for the rest of my life. Every journey has an end, but in life, every ending is just a new beginning. I’m excited about what’s next.”
Congratulations to the happy couple.
