As well know no one can wrestle forever, and there’s no better way to go out than with a big retirement match. Ric Flair wrestled his final match last summer, Goldberg has recently expressed his desire to compete in a retirement match, and WWE Hall of Fame Madusa also indicated that she would like a final send off.
While talking about potential opponents for her retirement match Madusa said, “It could be a Nattie, Beth Phoenix, a Rhea Ripley. Everyone wants to see Charlotte Flair and Madusa.”
It’s not clear at this point in time if the match will happen, but Charlotte Flair recently responded to Madusa’s comments during an interview with TV Insider and she said that it would be an honor to face off against the Hall of Famer.
“I would be honored to have her retirement match. That’s the first time I actually responded to the challenge. So here you go.”
Charlotte Flair recently competed in a huge match at WrestleMania 39 when she defended the SmackDown Women’s Title against Rhea Ripley, but unfortunately for Charlotte it was Rhea who walked out with the gold. Following WrestleMania it was reported that Charlotte would be taking a break from WWE. There’s currently no word on when she’s expected to return to TV.
