WrestleMania is once again a two night event this year and WWE has huge main events lined up for both nights of the show. Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch is one of the most anticipated matches on the card, but it doesn’t seem that Becky is too concerned about the match order.
During a recent interview with ClutchPoints.com The Man talked a little bit about where her match could end up while indicating that she would like to open the show if possible.
“Nah, man, I’m not worried about card order. I would love to open the show. I would love that. I’ve never opened WrestleMania before.
“And to open this one, as big as it is in Philadelphia, I’m just putting that out there. It would be pretty cool because if it’s not the main event, I always want to be the opening spot — it’s always a great place on the card because people are so excited.”
Only time will tell if Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley does indeed kick off WrestleMania 40, but if it does it will certainly be a memorable way to open the show.
