For decades Vince McMahon has been steering the ship for WWE and he has a reputation for working hard and taking very little time off. However, it seems that Vince will have to make some adjustments to his lifestyle as he officially announced his retirement last week.
The wrestling world has been reacting to Vince McMahon’s retirement, and during a recent interview with Adam’s Apple former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch shared one of her Vince McMahon stories.
“Probably, I sat down with him [and asked] ‘Hey Vince, you ever take any time off?’ He’s like ‘Well, one time I took a holiday and I was lying on the beach. I couldn’t relax. Then I came back and I said you know what we’re gonna do? We’re gonna do a big event. It’s gonna be like the SuperBowl and we’re gonna call it WrestleMania.’ I was like ‘Well Vince, I think you should take more Holidays.’”
When asked which match she would like to be known for Becky said that she’s proud of her match with Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38. Stay tuned for more updates on the reaction to Vince McMahon’s retirement as they become available.
