Over the last few years fans have seen a number of former WWE stars join All Elite Wrestling one of which is Buddy Matthews. Currently Matthews is one third of the AEW World Trios Champions and it seems that he’s in a good spot as a member of the House of Black. However, there’s no telling what the future might hold and if a possible WWE return could be in the cards.
It’s no big secret that current SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is in a relationship with Buddy Matthews, and she teased that she could convince him to return to WWE during an interview with Gery Roif.
“Maybe. Maybe. I don’t know. I’m very convincing. I’m a very convincing girl. I normally get what I want, so it might happen. You never know.”
Rhea did go on to add that she’s happy with the WWE stars she’s currently working with on screen when she said, “Right now, I’m happy with my DomDom. I’m happy going out there with him and Finn and Damian.”
