WWE seems to be firing on all cylinders at the moment, but unfortunately a few of the company’s top stars at not on TV right now such as Bianca Belair.
It’s been a few weeks since fans have seen Bianca Belair as she was attacked backstage by Damage CTRL during the August 18 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. During the attack Bianca’s knee was targeted which was part of an angle involving Bianca selling a knee injury from SummerSlam. Luckily for Bianca Belair Fightful Select is reporting that the knee injury is just a storyline.
However, Bianca Belair was scheduled for some time off which was factored in creatively. There have been differing accounts regarding how long she could be out ranging from a few weeks to a few months.
Belair had a long reign with the Raw Women’s Championship before it was rebranded as the WWE Women’s Championship, and it’s being said that she received a lot of praise during her title reign for her media schedule as well as the community events she would take part in.
