It’s been a big year for the WWE women’s division and some interesting names have stepped into the spotlight. Asuka managed to become the WWE Women’s Champion when she defeated Bianca Belair at Night of Champions, but unfortunately her reign came to an end last month.
Asuka put the belt on the line in a triple threat match against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam, and Bianca Belair won the WWE Women’s Championship. However, her reign was short lived as Iyo Sky cashed in Money in the Bank immediately after.
Now it seems that Asuka has made a big change to her look as The Empress of Tomorrow recently took to social media to share the following photo which shows her sporting a shorter hair style:
One can’t help but wonder if the new look could lead to a character change for Asuka as she’s been working as a heel most of the year while wearing face paint. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for the former champion.
