Top WWE Star Says Roman Reigns Is Afraid Of Them

Roman Reigns has been the man to beat in WWE for some time now and soon he will cross 1,000 days as champion. The Tribal Chief successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 and he denied Cody’s request for a rematch the next night on Raw.

Cody Rhodes was in action at the recent WWE live event in Fayetteville, North Carolina and he picked up a win over Finn Balor. The American Nightmare also took a moment to call out Roman Reigns and he claimed The Tribal Chief is afraid of him when he said the following:

“My theory is that the reason that Roman Reigns didn’t want to be here is because he is afraid of me. And that theory also extends to my opponent at the Night of Champions, Brock Lesnar.

“I’ll make you a promise. The next time I come back here, my promise is this. I hope to have defeated Brock Lesnar not just once but twice. And I also hope that I’ll be wearing some gold around my waist. Thank you, guys, very much.”

Cody Rhodes will face off against Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions next week, but at this point in time a rematch with Roman Reigns has not been confirmed. Stay tuned for updates.
