After weeks on hype WWE Day 1 Raw aired live on Monday night and Triple H teased an appearance from a former WWE Champion ahead of the show. The Rock ended up making an appearance and he really got fans talking when he asked the audience if he should sit at the head of the table.
The Rock’s question was of course a reference to Roman Reigns who has been calling himself the Head of the Table for years now. It’s been well known that WWE has been hoping to book a Rock vs. Roman Reigns match for some time. Now it seems that it may finally be happening.
Following his appearance on Raw, Becky Lynch posted a photo of herself with The Great One backstage. Lynch joked that, “One of us was asking the other for advice on how to beat up their cousin.”
The Rock joked about the advice he received from The Man when he responded with, “‘kick him in the b**ls’ is beautiful advice. I will do just that. Happy New Year!! #theman ”
It’s not clear where things go from here when it comes to a potential Rock vs. Roman Reigns match, but it was recently confirmed that The Tribal Chief will be appearing on SmackDown this week.
