A number of WWE deals are coming up and it was reported that Chad Gable’s contract with WWE was set to expire last week. It was also reported that Gable received a strong offer from WWE.
PWInsider is now reporting that Chad Gable is either very close to, or has come to terms on a new deal with WWE. According to the report the belief is that Chad Gable will be staying with the company.
There were said to be key people in AEW who were pushing the idea of signing Chad Gable to Tony Khan. However, AEW was not legally able to make an offer until Chad Gable’s WWE contract expired last week.
Chad Gable has become one of the top stars on Monday Night Raw in recent years and has been featured consistently on television as the leader of Alpha Academy. Gable will be getting a shot at championship gold next week when he challenges Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship at Clash at the Castle.
