It’s no big secret that WWE has been trying to lock their talents into long term deals over the last few years, and it looks like another familiar name has put pen to paper.
It was recently reported that Matt Riddle’s contract with WWE was set to expire in August, and that the former NXT star has been negotiating a new deal.
Fightful Select is now reporting that Riddle was not interested in WWE’s initial offer. Riddle was then offered a deal with revised terms, and it’s believed that he signed the multi-year deal last week.
Recently Matt Riddle has been teaming with Jeff Hardy and they’ve been working under the name Hardy Bros. WWE recently filed to trademark the team name, so it looks like they’ll be working together for the foreseeable future.
