The WWE roster is full of talent at the moment but it looks like there’s at least one former WWE Champion who is not currently cleared for in-ring competition.
Fightful Select reports that Rey Mysterio is not cleared to compete due to an “undisclosed medical reason.” Rey was originally advertised for a six man tag team match against The Bloodline at the WWE live event in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday night, but plans had to be changed.
Instead Dominik Mysterio faced Jinder Mahal while The Bloodline faced off against Finn Balor, Cesaro and Drew McIntyre.
On Friday night during the WWE Draft it was announced that Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio will be moving to the Raw brand. At this point it’s not clear how long Rey will be out of action. Stay tuned for updates.
