We’re only a few weeks away from WWE Clash at the Castle and there’s a lot of anticipation for the big event. Some of WWE’s top stars have been confirmed for the show, but so far AJ Styles does not have a match set for Clash at the Castle.
The Phenomenal One recently discussed Clash at the Castle during an interview with Inside The Ropes, and he said that he thinks it’s a shame he’s not on the card, but he’s not saddened by the fact that he won’t be there.
“I would love to put on a show. I don’t know that I have a story or anything and it’s a shame. There are plenty of other performers that have great stories, so I’m not saddened by the fact that I won’t be there because I know you guys are going to have such a great night with so many great matches.”
Even though AJ Styles doesn’t have a match at Clash at the Castle he does have an opportunity to win championship gold next week as it’s been announced that Bobby Lashley will be defending his United States Championship against Styles on Raw. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
