On Saturday night WWE WrestlePalooza aired live from Indianapolis and The Usos reunited to take on Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed. At one point during the match Jey Uso hit Bron Breakker with a steel chair and the chair ricocheted off Bron’s back and busted Jey’s head open. As the match continued Jey Uso was bleeding all over the ring.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer is now reporting that Jey Uso is in concussion protocol following the tag team match that took place at WrestlePalooza.
“Jey busted himself open, he hit Bron with the chair and it bounced off Bron’s back and split him six ways from Sunday. He’s in concussion protocol, which is a requirement after any injury like this.”
Shortly after Jey Uso was busted open Bron Breakker speared both of The Usos through a table. Bronson Reed then connected with a tsunami on Jey Uso to pick up the win for his team.
At this point in time it’s not clear how long Jey Uso could be out of the ring, but he certainly appears to be banged up. Stay tuned for more updates on Jey’s status as they become available.
