Every wrestling fan knows that entrance music goes a long way, and there are a number of entrance themes that have become instant classics over the years.
Randy Orton’s “Voices” theme has become synonymous with his character, and it’s embedded in the minds of fans at this point. However, it seems that The Viper wasn’t a huge fan of the theme when he started using it.
Former WWE composer Jim Johnston spoke to Lucha Libre Online about the theme, and he event went as far as to say that Orton hated it.
“I never spoke to him directly. But Randy Orton apparently hated his theme. I don’t know if he still does. I don’t even know why,” Johnston said, “but apparently that was true. I never spoke with him about it.”
Orton started using “Voices” in 2008, so it’s been his theme for well over a decade, but it’s unclear how he feels about it at this point in time. One way or another it seems unlikely that WWE will be changing his theme anytime soon.
