Top WWE Star Goes Off On Travis Scott For Ruining WrestleMania 41 Main Event

It’s been an interesting year for WWE so far as John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber back in March. Travis Scott and The Rock were both on hand for Cena’s heel turn and they helped Cena beat down Cody Rhodes, which left fans with a lot of questions following the show.

Travis Scott went on to make another big appearance on WWE programming a few months later when he interfered in the WrestleMania 41 main event. Scott’s interference helped John Cena pick up the victory as he went on to defeat Cody Rhodes and win his 17th world championship.

The angle involving Travis Scott at WrestleMania 41 wasn’t well received by the fans and it doesn’t sound like it went over well with Drew McIntyre either. During a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast Drew McIntyre discussed Travis Scott’s appearance at WrestleMania and he accused Scott of screwing up the main event.

“Do a six minute run in at WrestleMania and screw up our main event. Travis Scott. Piece of s***.”

A few months ago it was reported that Travis Scott had been training for a potential match, but nothing ever came of it. It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the word backstage was Travis Scott, “doesn’t like to commit to anything. He goes half-in, and tries other projects at the same time.” According to the report WWE tried to accommodate Scott because he’s a client of Ari Emanuel, but it just became too much to deal with.
