Top WWE Star Eyeing Acting Roles In Hollywood

WrestleMania 39 recently took place from Los Angeles and WWE really leaned into the WrestleMania Goes Hollywood theme this year. Fightful Select reports that Cody Rhodes recently made the most of his time in Los Angeles as he attended meetings for potential roles in movies and television.

It’s being said that there was discussion of Cody being interested in the role of Johnny Cage for the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie. The Miz has also reportedly been angling for the Johnny Cage role. There was also some discussion connecting Cody to a potential Legend of Zelda film.

Cody Rhodes is certainly no stranger to the acting world as he’s previously made appearances on shows such as Arrow and Warehouse 13. He’s also appeared on the Go Big Show, WAGS Atlanta and Rhodes to the Top.

There’s currently no word on whether or not Cody could end up landing one of the roles he recently discussed, but it will be interesting to see what type of moves he makes in the future.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
