We’re currently on the Road to WrestleMania, which means it’s the worst time of year for a WWE Superstar to be injured. Several WWE stars are currently sitting on the sidelines recovering from injuries, but it looks like we could be seeing on former WWE Champion make his return sooner than later.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Jeff Hardy has been cleared to return to the ring by his surgeon, and now he’s just waiting for WWE to give him the green light.
Jeff Hardy underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff back in October, and he was reportedly cleared by his surgeon last month, which is why he took a trip to Birmingham, Alabama recently so he could be evaluated by WWE doctors.
It seems that the evaluation went well, and Jeff is currently waiting on WWE.
It will definitely be interesting to see what the company does with Jeff when he returns. It’s been speculated that he could end up joining Matt to help build the Woken Universe, but of course it wouldn’t be surprising to see WWE push him as a singles star as well.
One way or another, hopefully Jeff will be returning in time for WrestleMania 34.
