Professional wrestling certainly isn’t ballet, and unfortunately wrestlers do get injured from time to time. It was recently reported that former Universal Champion Braun Strowman suffered a concussion that resulted in him being pulled from live events over the weekend, and Strowman confirmed the injury when he posted the following on Twitter:
“Thank you to everyone that has reached out. I am doing much better. Hate missing work. Sorry to everyone over the weekend that was looking forward to me performing. We are taking every proper step to make sure I recover to 100%
#NothingCanStopTheMonster
Much Love ”

Braun Strowman last competed on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown when he teamed up with Ricochet to face off against The Viking Raiders. During the match there was a strange spot when Strowman tried to throw Ricochet at Ivar, but missed his mark. He then fell to the mat as he was going back through the ropes. It hasn’t been confirmed, but the belief is that Strowman suffered the concussion at some point during the tag team match.
Stay tuned for updates.
