Over the last year or so there have been several names on the WWE roster who have been trying to break through to the next level. Jey Uso has become one of the top stars in the company and recently he’s been using the word “yeet” as part of his presentation following the infamous press conference that took place after WWE Fastlane.
Jey Uso has been saying the word “yeet” quite a bit and WWE has also been selling “yeet” t-shirts. However, this week on Raw a video package hyping up Jey Uso’s title match with Seth Rollins aired and the word “yeet” was blurred out.
WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE found some trademark issues with the word “yeet.” Moving forward the word will no longer be associated with Jey Uso or his merchandise.
As evident on RAW just now, I’m told WWE has found trademark issues with Jey Uso’s “Yeet.” The word & merchandising will no longer be associated with Uso going forward.

Unfortunately for Jey Uso, he failed to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Monday night as it was Seth Rollins who picked up the victory. After the match Jey was attacked by Drew McIntyre, so it’s probably safe to say we’ll be seeing a Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre feud in the weeks to come.
Stay tuned for updates.
