WWE Monday Night Raw without a doubt made out in the Superstar Shake-up as the red brand gained Bray Wyatt, The Miz, Maryse, Dean Ambrose and several other top stars from SmackDown.
The night after WrestleMania 33, Finn Balor made his return to television, but unfortunately it looks like the first ever WWE Universal Champion suffered a serious injury this week on WWE Monday Night Raw.
PWInsider is reporting that Finn Balor suffered a concussion after he took a stiff forearm shot via Jinder Mahal this week on Raw.
Fans have already pounced on Jinder Mahal on social media, but as well all know, wrestling isn’t ballet and injuries do happen from time to time.
Unfortunately for Finn Balor, he has a history with injuries as he won the first ever Universal Title match at SummerSlam 2016, but he he tore his shoulder up in the process.
Finn Balor spent several months sitting on the sidelines recovering, and he recently made his return to the ring at WWE live events.
His match with Jinder Mahal on Monday night was his first singles match since returning to TV, but unfortunately it didn’t end well for him despite the fact that he got the victory.
As of this writing there’s no word on how long Finn Balor might be out of action.
