Monday Night Raw’s top star recently announced that he was taking time off when Roman Reigns revealed that he’s battling leukemia, and now WWE has to build up a new face for the red brand.
It looks like Braun Strowman is the man who is taking Roman’s spot for now, but it seems that the Monster Among Men may be in rough shape.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Braun Strowman is working with two blown out knees at the moment.
It was also noted that he’s considered to be the top face on Raw right now. There’s a lot of pressure on Strowman to stay on the road, so at the moment he’s working through the pain.
Braun recently faced Brock Lesnar in a Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel, but Strowman didn’t get much offense in, and Lesnar put him away after hitting the F5 a total of 5 times throughout the match.
