You never know what might happen when you watch WWE programming, and this week former WWE Champion Big E appeared on Friday Night SmackDown once again. During the show Kayla Braxton noted that Big E is officially back on the blue brand, and the official WWE Twitter account also announced the move as well.
Big E teamed up with fellow New Day member Kofi Kingston this week on SmackDown and together they defeated the team of Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss. It’s not clear at this point in time why Big E was moved or if this is part of a trade that will see Raw receive a star from SmackDown.
On the September 13th, 2021 episode of Monday Night Raw Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Bobby Lashley to become the new WWE Champion, and he was officially drafted to Raw during the WWE Draft on October 1st. Recently Big E dropped the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar during the fatal 5 way main event at the Day 1 pay-per-view a few weeks agao.
Kofi Kingston and Big E will both be competing in the 30 man Royal Rumble match tonight. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
