Top Star Pulled From WWE’s Upcoming Japan Tour, Cody Rhodes Comments On Clash Of The Champions

Roman Reigns was recently pulled from WWE’s upcoming tour of Japan due to his suspension. He will be replaced by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose.

Bray Wyatt has also been pulled from the tour. Wyatt was originally set to face Shinsuke Nakamura on July 1 and he was also set to compete in a Fatal 4 Way match on July 2. No word on why he’s been pulled or who will be replacing him.

As we noted earlier this week, it looks like Clash of the Champions is returning in September. Although WWE hasn’t made an official announcement, they’ve changed the page dedicated to this year’s Night of Champions event on their website to read Clash of the Champions.

A revised pay-per-view schedule also recently leaked and it shows the return of Clash of the Champions in September as well. Sky Italy confirmed the schedule is legitimate.

Cody Rhodes commented on the return of Clash of Champions saying that he hopes more of Dream’s originals return.
