In the world of professional wrestling teams are constantly coming together and falling apart, and it looks like one of SmackDown’s top stars pitched an idea to team up with Liv Morgan.
On Sunday night a documentary focusing on Liv Morgan aired on the WWE Network, and Sami Zayn commented on the documentary and noted that while he was doing his Great Liberator gimmick he tried hard to get Liv Morgan with him.
“Really enjoyed #LivForever on @WWENetwork. Fun fact, when I first started doing “The Great Liberator” I pitched hard to get @YaOnlyLivvOnce with me, but she got drafted to Raw. There is SO much to her. Can’t wait to see her one day become Womens Champ.”

Zayn ended up working with Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura and ultimately Liv Morgan didn’t join the group.
Last year there was a lot of hype leading up to Liv Morgan’s return to TV, and she got a lot of people talking when she crashed the Lashley/Lana wedding.
In recent months Morgan has reunited with Ruby Riott and they are once again working as a team.
